The SOPU BM1688 Edge Computing Box is built around Sophon BM1688 8-core ARM
Cortex‑A53 AI processor, delivering powerful 16 TOPS @INT8 AI inference performance
for multi-channel video analysis at the edge. This industrial edge box supports up to
16-channel video input, making it ideal for mass video stream processing, face
recognition, license plate recognition and multi-camera AI vision tasks.
It adopts fanless industrial-grade aluminum alloy housing with efficient passive heat
dissipation. The wide operating temperature range from -20℃ to 60℃ allows stable
24/7 continuous operation in harsh outdoor and industrial environments.
Rich and flexible interfaces are integrated: Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI IN /
HDMI OUT, multiple USB ports, GPIO, SIM card slot and TF card slot, supporting diverse
peripheral access and easy system expansion. It works with multiple operating systems
and provides secure video processing capability to meet demands for edge data privacy
protection and local large model deployment.
